I don’t think I could bring myself to street park it, which is what I’m telling myself to stop from going to see this lovely thing.

$2200 CAD??

It’s probably a good thing that I live 2,000 miles away.

Yup....I’m wondering if the lack of interior pics has anything to do with that, but it’s still a seriously nice price

I’m also a little bothered that the pictures all seem to be from a distance (hiding rust spots?), but if the body is as clean as it looks, the interior could have been mauled by a bear and the price would still be okay.

About 5 years ago, someone was selling one of these on my local CL. Green on green with matching green hubcaps. It had an upgraded Becker radio and roof rack on it.

I wanted it so bad as a teen but knew it’d probably suck every dollar I was making at the time.

Older grey market import I’m thinking

Almost too cheap, I am quite suspicious.

Regarding the lights, they are a thing in Europe, too.

Yeah, it’s a bit suspect.

Really? Weird, today I learned something.

I think the ad is legit, but the car has some kind of severe issue. That isn’t a low maintenance engine, for one thing.

Euro cars could have single composite lights, or quad rounds. I think they were slightly different from the NA spec lights, but similar in appearance:

Also, some in Europe like to fit their cars with NA spec lights to be different. I’ve seen it on a number of cars, especially 126 and 108s.

Would only consider it if it were manual. After I got into diesel Mercedes to run on waste vegetable oil I did a lot of looking around and research. Kind of wanted a 280 for the look & feel, but quickly decided I had better stick to diesel: the gas engines I could afford to get into(I was buying $500 SDs) were way too maintenance-intense for my wallet & skills.
